About OceanClan

OceanClan is not your traditional clan. They do not come from a long line of warriors, forest blood running through their veins. Instead they are mostly of kittypet and loner descent, the sole exception being Sealstar, their leader. Throughout her years, Sealstar has brought more and more cats to OceanClan to learn how to live in the clan way.

Key Traits

  • proud

  • resourceful

  • adaptable

  • curious

OceanClan is known for their resourcefulness, stemming mostly from their leader and founder of the clan, Sealstar. Understanding that maintaining the wellbeing of the clan is not simple, many cats are still able to adapt to their environment. They are a clan made up of former kittypet's and loners lead by an estranged leader of a different clan, they are bound to have a few problems. Sealstar has instilled a quite intense sense of pride in every member while also encouraging them all to remain curious as it had been what lead each of them to the forest in the first place.

Skills

  • fishing

  • swimming

  • agile

  • swift

Cats from OceanClan are, naturally, skilled fishers and swimmers. All of the cats are used to the ocean breeze, although for some swimming was baffling at first. But they adapted. Much of the clan are also quite agile with hunting in treetops being no problem for most, as is the speed required to catch a fish successfully; their natural talents are intensified through their environment.

Reputation

  • fierce

  • mysterious

  • aloof

  • dangerous

  • free

To say that OceanClan had gained a big reputation among loners and kittypets is an understatement. Under the brutal control of the gang, whispers about a clan of cats free from their regime grew. Few had actual encounters with clan cats at first, very few went into the forest to begin with. But they were not only known for being an escape. As encounters with the clan between loners and kittypets grew, many came to fear them as patrols always chased them from borders. Having no understanding of territory, many took this as aggression and learnt to be wary.
